Job Purpose: |
Conceptualize, plan and implement strategic concepts/initiativesfocusing emerging technologies with a long term goal of developing new revenue streams and growth in market share assimilating emerging technologies. |
Key Accountabilities: |
- Track social/cultural, political, economic, regulatory and competitive environment of business to generate new business concepts and initiatives using emerging technologies.
- Explore local and international synergy, partnership and alliance building opportunities that lead to commercial developments
- Conduct market studies to generate and/or evaluate new business opportunities with Emerging Technologies.
- Assume lead role for management approval of new business concepts, run feasibility studies and develop end-to-end product go-to-market strategy
- Assume lead role in commercialization of new business initiativesin coordination with relevant cross functional teams
- Analyse project performances and provide reports for evaluation
- Provide mutual support to New Business Development team as well as other CS departments/functions in operations, planning and tracking functions
- Assume accountability of KPI target achievements including generation of new revenue streams from new businesses in line with company strategy
- To assist supervisor on adhoc tasks or EPMO project involvement, special projects regarding new business andnew technology assimilation.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience: |
A. Academic Qualification: BBA/MBA in Marketing from a reputed local or foreign university.
B. Skills required:
- Knowledge about local and global product and technology trends in the telecom industry
- Basic knowledge about voice and non-voice products and telecom commercial operations
- Strong communication, interpersonal and cooperation capability
- Maintain Inter personal / inter departmental relationship
- Strong project management skills
- Advanced computer skills especially in MS excel and word
- Ability to work with Cross Functional Team
C. Working Experience: (1 year can be relaxed for each areas of experience below for high Achievers with a proven track record)
- Minimum 6 years total working experience.
- Minimum 4 years in telecom industry.
- Minimum 2 years in a similar function.
